PLASTIC TOKENS

C A Grant Ltd merged with Dore House Ltd in 2008. Dore House was hugely involved in the manufacture of Local Councils Concessionary Fare plastic tokens for public transport use. Over the years this industry has changed resulting in replacement systems for these plastic tokens. This prompted us to enter the consumer market of plastic tokens and as a result plastictokens.co.uk was born. TURNING

CNC LATHEOur turning capacity lies with our Hass SL20 machine centre with live tooling. This allows us to work up to a maximum cutting diameter of 262mm by 2" diameter bar capacity. This new addition to our factory allows us to provide highly accurate, consistent results whilst maintaining superb surface finishes. Our Proturn 410 machine and hardinge turning centre provides us with additional capacity whilst maintaining high quality results.

MILLING

Our milling capacity is currently expanding, with the introduction of our second VMX24T vertical machining centre. This machine allows us to machine parts up to 760mm x 510mm.We have two Hurco VMX24T machining centres with rienishaw part probing & laser tool probing. These machines are equipt with 4th axis rotary capabilities. Our Lang tooling allows part 5th axis capabilities which significantly reduces set up times for complex parts. Our Hurco VM1 vertical machining centre again working with our Lang tooling enables partial 4th axis capabilities. We have a 3 axis turret milling machine for the smaller simple jobs.

WIRE ERODING
